1 ANIMAL HUSBENDRY AND VETERINARY DEPRTMENT Structure of the Department: Under the Animal Resources Development sector, Jagatsinghpur District is running with one S.D.V.O Cum incharge C.D.V.O at District Head quarter assisted by one Nodal Officer in Jagatsinghpur Headquarter to look after the Animal Husbandry activities of 12 Veterinary Dispensary & 64 Livestock Aid Centres & Normal doing A.I & 38 K.V units 3 & 15 Gomitras for looking after the improvement of thegenetic potentialities of the indigenous cattle & Buffalo through A.I for improvement of production of milk in this district.Hence NBPCBB Programme sponsored by Govt.of India.
