2 567 Group - Introduction A self-supported group formed by parents of PLWHA(people living with HIV) in ward no.5, 6 and 7 of Vung Tau city, Vietnam. On duty consultant : Mr. Pham Dung Chi – got rich experience as consultant of Drug Rehabilitation Centers and was trained HIV/AIDS consultation professionally by HCM PAC (Prevention AIDS Committee ).

5 567 Group - Milestones Year 2000: first activities within wards no. 5, 6 & 7 of Vung Tau city, Vietnam. Nov 22 nd, 2003: 567 Group was officially established as a civil group (no government or NGO support)

7 567 Group – Milestones cont. Since 2003: began bringing PLWHA to HCMC for treatment who were not registered in Ba Ria - Vung Tau OPC (only 30 registered); by May 2008 over 80 trips conducted May 15 th, 2008: OPC Vung Tau opened to provide treatment for PLWHA in Vung Tau, so 567 Group went for a new strategy

9 567 Group – Milestone (conti.) From Nov 2003 to May 2008: more than 80 bus trips for AIDS patients from Vung Tau to HCMC shows the efficient contribution of 567 Group to society and community. May 15 th, 2008: the opening of OPC Vung Tau provide treatment for AIDS people in Vung Tau broadly. So, 567 Group goes for the new strategy.
