Wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for SARS STEPS in Gowning up: 1 *Hand washing 2 Masks Goggle Cap & Shoes covers 5 *Hand washing 6 Gowns 7 Gloves

Removing (PPE) after attending SARS cases STEPS: 1 Remove Shoes Covers (inside out) 2 Remove gloves (inside out) *Hand washing Remove gown (inside out) 4 Remove Caps from back (inside out) 5 Remove Goggle, clean with liquid soap under running water 3Xs, rinse & dry, ready for next use 6 Remove N95 (put into paper bag and discard in plastic lined dustbin) *** Thorough Hand washing 7. Wear Surgical Mask (Leave SARS unit)
