* THE SECRET * INCOTERMS * WHEN CAN YOU SHIP Documentation, Customs and Storage

A perfect match between documentation and operation.

INTERNET IS FANTASTIC, BUT IT DOES NOT MOVE ANY CARGO, YET…

Important to be aware of the terms FOB or CIP, EXW or FCA. These are terms that many of us have heard about, but do not know the meaning or the importance of. For those who knows what this is, such shortenings gives a clear message when the buyer legally has received the goods.

Delivery clauses in Incoterms 2010 shows risks, cost and obligation whether you purchase or sell. The usage of standard delivery terms (Incoterms), and serious transport companies, will also contribute to a safer and more serious business relationship.

1.Allways include ”Incoterms 2010” in the sales contract. 2.Have access to the rules in Incoterms 2010 ! 3.There are 11 clauses valid. 4.Divide old fashion ocean clauses to modern conditions. 5.Incoterms 2010 should be a part of the sales contract. 6.Incoterms 2010 is basicaly about sharing cost, risk and responsability. 7.Topclauses. CFR, CIF, CPT og CIP

Make sure you choose the right one. * Rio de Janeiro, Itajai, Sepetiba * Itaguai, Macaé * Vitoria, Sao Paulo, Porto Alegre * Salvador and many others There are different rules and different conditions. If you, by accident, ship your cargo to the wrong port, You are in trouble.

STORAGE TIME

 Can be so extremely much, and yet so little  In Norway or at final destination?  On board a slow vessel

DOCUMENT ATION

P 68

* The cargo must be the same as shown in the documents. * If in doubt, never be afraid to ask. * Any mismatch will cause the cargo to be stoped at customs and this costs money. * Port customs storage in Brazil is outrageousely expensive, and if you have made a mistake, your cargo will generate extra storage

P 69

* Original Invoice with many details * Country of origin for small parts * Original Bill of Lading with prices, stamps and signatures etc. * Packinglist with weight in gram * Issuing fines for details.

Do not ship anything until : * All documents are confirmed «all right» from consignee. * Including B/L or AWB * Must have in writing that you are permitted to do so.

THE END

OUR LOCATION IS HERE It’s probably 90 % cheaper

Ecovix WHAT WE STORE

* No cargo is shipped to Brazil without our green light * This is our guarantee of a flawless operation

* OBEY * Follow the instructions your partner or your good freight forwarding agent, who, in turn has been checking everything with your customer, and his customs broker, rehersing the documentation always before shipment, as we do, as a rule.

Thanks for your attention.
