Journey to “A Better Life” Improving Family and Work Life —Lead By Example— Being a good parent is what calls out to my spirit. After not making the grade in the life of my children during their more impressionable years; I’ve come to know and understand that it takes more than just a loud voice and stern hand to train them. I so would love to make things better than how I started. In my case getting older did mean getting better as father and provider. I just thank God that he put up with me long enough to make a difference. I really do understand the training command now. —!!show them how; along with tell them how!!—

I have what my Bible say I have, my Bible teaches my spirit, my spirit teaches my mind, and my mind teaches my body. My Bible is full of promises and command- ments, my Bible has good and bad examp- les. How do I know my Bible is true? By comparing scripture with scripture and spiritual things with spiritual things. I study my Bible to show myself approved, rightly dividing the Word of God.
