— The FY 2011 FAC Committee The FIMS Advisory Committee (FAC) is a subcommittee of individuals comprised of Field Office users, including DOE contractor personnel, that recommend continuous improvement to the system. FAC recommendations are presented to the FDDC for final approval/disapproval.* Members of the FAC in 2010/2011 are as follows: ◦ Roger Johnson - Chair, Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education ◦ Sharon Campbell, Savannah River Operations office ◦ Dennis DuPont, Legacy Management ◦ Dave Fazenbaker, Thomas Jefferson National Laboratory ◦ Karen Henry, Sandia National Laboratory ◦ Christopher Johnson, Strategic Petroleum Reserve Office ◦ Eddy Johnson, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory *At the 2010 Workshop we discussed changes that may pass the FDDC approval step for direct adoption to FIMS; housekeeping to current data elements, definitions, non-controversial, low cost, etc.

Facilities Data Development Committee (FDDC) A corporate board is in place that is comprised of individuals who represent the Headquarters program secretarial offices that funded the development of FIMS.
