NEW PUPIL AT SCHOOL Scene 1 Narrador: One Friday morning at Julio Gurriarán school. Teacher: Good morning children. Pupils: Good morning teacher. Teacher: How are you today? Pupils: Fine, thank you, anyway. Teacher: Sheila, what’s the weather like today? Sheila: It’s sunny and hot everywhere. Teacher: Well, and now tell me Tania the planets you know. Tania: I know Saturn, Earth and Pluto Teacher: O.K. Tania, but tell me some more. Tania: Sorry, teacher but I don’t know more.

Teacher: Well, Santi helps Tania to say us all. Santi: I don’t know teacher, sorry I don’t. Teacher: Angela, Maite what about you both? Angela, Maite: We don’t know teacher, sorry we don’t. Narrator: Brais doesn’t know the solar system song and everybody laughs at him. When the class goes up he goes down, when the class turns right he turns left… The bell rings. Scene 3 Narrator: Everybody plays, but Brais is alone at the corner. Sheila realizes that Brais is on his own. Sheila: I’ve got an idea. Come here please. (They make a circle and talk slowly. Then they go to Brais’ corner.) Sheila: Hi, why are you sad? Brais: Sorry I don’t know, I don’t understand. Juanjo: Don’t worry Brais we are friends now. All: And all of us want to help you. Tania: You’ll be a mirror. Do what we do.
