Are there opportunities to add value to existing projects? Can we use our expertise/resources to initiate partnerships? Is our internal expertise and methodologies useful ? What are the challenges?  There is still a great deal of stigma relating to HIV/Aids which undermines isolated/specific interventions  The discussion regarding HIV and alcohol is gaining momentum  In order to protect our reputation we need robust responses Tracking our HIV/Aids footprint in supply chain and communities

A preventive model for HIV/Aids, alcohol abuse and violence against women and children Educate men on the effects of violence on women and children Provide counselling for men who engage in violent acts To educate men in HIV/Aids and the links with violence To educate men on the issue of alcohol abuse and responsible use of alcohol To sensatize men as to their role in the prevention of abuse To assist with counselling and reconciliation of families To examine strategies for change Skills building behavioural interventions for reducing alcohol related HIV risk
