Project Objectives -To analyze the Northbound left turn lane at US-52 and Cumberland Road -Evaluate the wait times at the intersection peak hours -Evaluate the capacity of the left-turn lane and its effectiveness -Analyze other alternatives to using the left-turn lane

Expectations We expect to get a quantitative analysis of this intersection during its peak hour We expect ~5% of the vehicles to make a U-Turn on Cumberland We expect a minimum wait time of 2 light cycles to get through the intersection
Actual Results We saw a slightly smaller number of U-turns than expected. The majority of vehicles sat through a maximum of 1 cycle.
