IT’S ORGANIC! by Anita Davis By PresenterMedia.comPresenterMedia.com Career Day – Tuesday, November 15, 2011

Finding Your Dream Career It’s organic! Does she mean by that? The main point of this presentation Is the time to start thinking And so is any time You are already there! Is what you see, what you get? Is as happy does So… what is your bliss? Did she want to be when she was my age? Is it what she became? WHAT NOW WHO MAYBE HAPPY HOW Does she do that? A week in the life of your presenter

Finding Your Dream Career It’s organic! Does she mean by that? The main point of this presentation WHAT We begin with the meaning of the word “organic” (adjective) of, relating to, or derived from living organisms of, relating to, or containing carbon compounds forming an integral element of a whole of, relating to, or constituting the law by which a government or organization exists

Have you given any thought to what you want to be? There are already so many things you have to think about. Getting along with friends School Maybe work Environment Societal pressures Home life Money Whatever you want to be is organic to you. At least, I think, it should be.

And now, one more thing…. The future! How many have begun to think about the future and what you want to be when you “grow up”?

Finding Your Dream Career It’s organic! You are already there! Is what you see, what you get? MAYBE

You may have already figured this out... but maybe not. You are ALREADY what you want to be.

Finding Your Dream Career It’s organic! Is the time to start thinking You are now becoming more aware of your own self NOW

This does not mean that what you see is what you are. This does mean that what you are inside is what you are. All you have to do is find out what that is. It is the thing that makes you most happy when you are doing it. It is the thing that you would do for free if you did not need to put bread on your table. This your bliss.

What is bliss??? Not talking about the chocolate candies.

Writer and lecturer Joseph Campbell ( ) said “When you follow your bliss... doors will open where you would not have thought there would be doors; and where there wouldn't be a door for anyone else.”

Finding Your Dream Career It’s organic! Is as happy does So… what is your bliss? HAPPY

For those of you who have said what you want to be, and those of you who have only been thinking… A different question. What do you do during your days or weeks, that makes you HAPPY? What’s fun? What floats your boat? Ask yourself how close this is to what you think you will want to do?

It is important now, that you do not put too much thought into this beginning part. Because that takes the fun out of it. It is just a germ of an idea. A little nyappe to your life, a little something-something. It is you simply allowing all possibilities for you, no matter how unusual – and regardless of whether it “makes sense” or not. Start from where you are. You are perfect as you are.

Finding Your Dream Career It’s organic! Did she want to be when she was my age? Is it what she became? WHO

Happy Me!

A different question … What do you do during your days or weeks, that makes you HAPPY? Ask yourself how close this is to what you think you will want to do? The closer it is, I believe the more fulfilling your life will become!

As time goes on, I realize that having a career GOAL has everything to do with your career PATH. Check out this tool at PayScale.com called GigZig.
