Using the age range you work with, show what skills you see the children using…
Using the Early Years Foundation Stage find where your chosen age range lies for each area of development. Don’t forget to include a quote
Every Child is Different and Unique! Children develop at their own rate, but they usually follow a similar sequence
Think of two children of similar age in your setting or that you know outside of work Do they do exactly the same things? Are there things that one child can do that the other can’t. Could you do exactly the same things as your best friend from school?
Go Back to the EYFS and have a look at the age range column -What do you notice? -Why do you think this is?
