Midwest Writing Center Incorporated in Iowa in (c) 3 Not-for-profit Corporation 15 Active Member Board of Directors Located in Rock Island District in 2002 Moved to condo loft office in Bucktown Center for the Arts downtown Davenport in 2005 Mission Driven The only nonprofit organization in the Quad Cities that devotes 100% of our time and money to literary arts programming

How do we do all of this? Annual Funding-memberships, Birdies for Charity, Tuition, Grants, Gifts, Sponsorships Good fiscal practices Volunteers! Over 4,500 hours logged last year. MWC spends 87% of our budget on our literary arts programs and services and 13% on fundraising and administrative fees. Endowment Fund Use local vendors whenever possible
