Ongoing contact with SD Congressional Delegation (Thune, Rounds, Noem) Coordinated Production Tax Credit efforts with AWEA / Midwest RRC / NREL Coordinated efforts to address lack of new project development due to inequitable State taxes Assembled a membership group to identify current wind development issues and potential SD legislative initiatives Facilitated a meeting in Pierre for a membership group with Governor’s staff to solicit support for modifying the Gross Receipts Tax South Dakota Wind Energy Association 2014 Accomplishments 3

Assist in legislative efforts to make wind development in South Dakota more competitive.
