ABOUT SECIPRO

SECIPRO network was born  out of the Southeast European Cooperative Initiative (SECI)  is now also under the umbrella of the Stability Pact SECIPRO  a network of public-private partnerships in 10 Southeast European countries  aims to facilitate transport and trade in the region  eliminate border obstacles to trade  expedite the movement of goods through the region

 Both public institutions and private enterprises are part of the full trade and logistics chain  Effective cooperation of the public and the private sector will make the region more attractive to traders and investors  Public-private partnership can be an efficient and cost-effective tool to pull down the numerous barriers that exist in the region - especially for countries in transition with scarce resources. Why PPP? Current PPP Level  The level of dialogue between public and private parties in the region is currently limited to ensure that laws and regulations are suitable for the provision of efficient trade supporting services.

SECIPRO builds a bridge between through bringing together representatives  of the business community  Chambers of Commerce  transport and freight forwarding associations  with the representatives of the public sector  coming from the numerous agencies that are present in its border crossing Private Sector priorities for fast and efficient movement of goods Public Sectors concerns about security and control at the national borders

Trade & Transport Facilitation in Southeast Europe ABOUT TTFSE T T F S E W E B S I T E

TTFSE  identified by a SECI working group  supported by- the US Government - the European Union (“EU”)  with the help of - IRU - FIATA the World Bank has been implementing a project to help Balkan region countries improve their border crossing infrastructure and procedures

Through the TTFSE Program, SECIPRO, has  performed more than 325 seminar units  trained more than 6400 individuals  reached more than 120 cities in the targeted region

TTFSE WEBSITE  an electronic archive of necessary documents and procedures for road transport  combats corruption through provision of transparent information on all procedures and requirements of border agencies  provides travel information & services  assist businesses in moving cargo trough the region
