Competition Teams 6 Teams - 4 x students/team Each team will consist of 1 student from each college

Competition Ideas Teams may not enter the same business idea they won their respective regional heats with. Teams will select from a list of business ideas provided Supporting research will be provided for each idea Teams may select their own idea

Competition Timescales Today - AM Teams Picked & Business Ideas chosen Today - PM Students work on the preparation of their individual business plans. Business Plans to be handed in by 9.30 tomorrow morning! Tomorrow - AM 10.30Team Presentations 12.30Judging 13.00Awards

Competition Scoring Business Plan Scoring 50% Originality (idea, product/service, logo, company name etc) Minimum composition of the business plan (see Rule 6) Overall feasibility / prospects of start-up / sustainability Presentations Scoring 50% Ability to persuade and communicate, demonstrate good levels of motivation Good knowledge of your business idea and financials, concise answers to any questions asked by the panel judges.
