INTRODUCTION Sometimes Data Managers need a simplified way of knowing the clinical status as well as HIV patients management in their District Hospitals or Health Centers. This Module displays the information that can give in brief the status of different indicators related to Care and Treatment Program.

Step 3 : Result of Search on one indicator with a graphic When you want to display a graphic you just check the Display graphic box Here you need to provide start and end date so date the graphic will show patients by year

List of all indicators and their explanations  Number of active patients on ARVs : This indicator displays all active patients who are taking ARVs. When searching this indicator you need to provide only end date because it displays all active patients on ARVs up to end date provided.  Number of active patients on prophylaxis : This indicator displays all active patients who are taking prophylaxis (Pre ART). When searching this indicator you need to provide only end date because it displays all active patients on Prophylaxis up to end date provided.  Number of patients transferred out during the reporting period : For this indicator, you need to provide start and end date because it displays patients transferred out during the chosen period.

Continous : List of all indicators and their explanations.  Number of patients who died during the reporting period : For this indicator you need to provide start and end date because it displays patients who died during the chosen period.  Number of patients on the first line regimen : This indicator displays all active patients on first line regimen. When searching you can provide only end date because it displays active patients on first line up to end date provided.  Number of patients on second line regimen : This indicator displays all active patients on second line regimen. When searching you can provide only end date because it displays active patients on second line up to end date provided.

Continous : List of all indicators and their explanations.  Number of new patients on ARVs : This indicator displays all new patients on ARVs during the chosen period (it means those who started Arvs for their first time during the chosen period). You need to provide start and end date.  Number of new patients on prophylaxis : This indicator displays all new patients on Prophylaxis during the chosen period (it means those who started prophylaxis for their first time during the chosen period). You need to provide start and end date.  Total number of patients consulted : This indicator displays all patients consulted during the chosen period. You need to provide start and end date.

Continous : List of all indicators and their explanations.  Total number of patients who came for pharmacy visit : This indicator displays patients who came for pharmacy visit during the chosen period. You need to provide start and end date.  Patients on ARVs (cumulative) : This indicator displays cumulative patients on ARVs (this means all patients including lost on follow up and exited from care patients). You can provide only end date because it displays all cumulative patients up to end date provided.  Patients on prophylaxis (cumulative) : This indicator displays cumulative patients on prophylaxis only (Pre ARVs) (this means all patients including lost on follow up and exited from care patients). You can provide only end date because it displays all cumulative patients up to end date provided.

Continous : List of all indicators and their explanations. Patients eligible for ARV but not yet started ARV. (CD4 counts < 350) : This indicator displays all eligible patients on ARVs but not yet started during the chosen period (those whose CD4 count is less than 350). You need to provide start and end date so that it displays eligible patients between the chosen period. Patients taking ARVs without visiting a pharmacy for (x days) : This indicator displays patients taking ARVs but who have passed a period of x months without visiting pharmacy. You need to provide number of months. Patients without CD4 counts for (x days) : This indicator displays patients who have passed a period of x months without CD4 count test. You need to provide number of months.

Continous : List of all indicators and their explanations. Patients taking ARVs but lost on follow up : This indicator displays patients taking ARVs but you have passed 3 months or more than 3 months without coming to Hospital or Health Center. You can provide only end date. Patients lost on follow up : This indicator displays all patients who have passed 3 months or more than 3 months without coming to Hospital or Health Center. You can provide only end date.

Display a graphic For any indicator, when you want to display a graphic, you need to check the display graphic box and provide start and end date so that the graphic shows patients on every year.

Using gender or ragne of age when searching When searching you can select any gender you want or the range of age you want for any indicator.
