Journal #26: Community –In the novel, community is an important thematic topic. The neighbors (Tull and Cora) feel a sense of duty/obligation to help out the Bundren family. Consider this: in the first six chapters, two are narrated by Cora; also, Faulkner includes other narrator besides family in this tale. Therefore, one might say that community=family, especially in a southern town. –Write about your own community. How would you describe Ste. Gen?
