About the Fund John F. Kennedy once said “ A man may die, nations may rise and fall, but an idea lives on.” The idea of the Children’s Education Fund came to be by Al Simpson. Al, a clinician at Community Interventions Program, got the idea by listening to many stories by past residents that would come back to visit and support current residents. Their stories were of dreams of attending colleges or trade schools and these dreams would end due to lack of funding and resources. Children and young adults with great potential needed the opportunity to make these dreams reality.

Our Mission Our mission is to empower our past and current clients to achieve a successful and fulfilling life. By providing funding and resources to assist with college, trade schools or any training beneficial to future success we hope to give the opportunities necessary to make a difference in their lives.

Success Stories We have recently awarded our 1 st Education Fund Scholarship. She is attending Bunker Hill Community College. We have also awarded funding to a past client to purchase textbooks. More to Come! Contact Us:

What you can do… We are always looking for help with our Education Fund. You can help through donations, fundraising campaigns, helping with the banquet, finding additional resources or just giving us creative ideas.
