NAU volleyball banquet. JANUARY
Annual New Year’s golf with a toast of champagne for Ron, Don, Dan and Alex. This year at Coldwater. We have a cookout for entire family at Mike & Alicia’s. Tornado weather warnings for Phoenix.
FEBRUARY Jeff & Katie Barchi’s wedding at the South Mountain Humane Society (notice the dogs).
MARCH Easter at our house. Kathy interviewed on Channel 3 TV, then went to New York City for 3 days to receive a grant award (1 of only 50 nationwide!).
APRIL Marie on spring break with Zoë.
Lots of volleyball. This is at ASU. Visited old house in Gallup, NM on way back from tournament in Albuquerque. Alex ran into old friend Oscar at Best Buy after 30 years!
JUNE Friend Anu loses months long struggle after auto accident. A very talented young lady will be missed.
A week in the cool mountains of Pinetop with the entire family. JULY
A couple of days in Prescott with family and friends.
AUGUST Moving Marie to her new apartment in Flagstaff.
Seems like we have been doing this moving stuff for years…which we have!
SEPTEMBER Volleyball season begins. Kathy & Alex take a side trip to Sandia Mountain and Santa Fe in New Mexico.
Alex and friends stop for golf in Williams on way to 3 day Laughlin tournament.
OCTOBER Kathy and Alex go to Montana to watch Marie play volleyball for NAU. They rent a car and spend a few extra days visiting beautiful sights.

DECEMBER Marie graduates from NAU with a degree in Psychology.
