Gamete
A gamete is either a male or female sex cell. These are produced in their respective sex organs. A female only produces these cells once, but a male continues making these cells forever.
Fertilization
Fertilization is the fusion of male and female gametes. This happens through sex (and pollination) When this happens a baby is made (or a seed)
Zygote
A zygote is the diploid cell formed when a sperm fertilizes an egg. The term literally means joined or yoked. This only happens in sexual reproduction
Pollination
Pollination occurs when the male reproductive organs in a plant transfer pollen to the female reproductive organ in a different plant (usually in the same species) This is usually done through bees and butterfly's This enables the plant to be fertilized
