In this report I have told you about a peacock butterfly. I told you what a peacock butterfly looks like, where it lives, and what it eats. I also told you some interesting facts about a peacock butterfly. I hope you enjoyed reading my report about Peacock butterflies. If you have never heard about Peacock butterflies, you heard about them now. But if you have heard of a Peacock butterfly, I hoped you learned a lot of new things.

This is what a peacock butterfly looks like. A peacock butterfly looks like a peacock. It has bright reddish-orange and chocolate colored wings. They also can have black, blue, purple, and yellow eyespots.

This is where a peacock butterfly lives. Peacock butterflies live in Russians, the Far East, England, Southeast Asia, and East Japan. They also can live up to a year or 11 months in these places.

This is what a peacock butterflies eat. They eat white peacock butterflies, and of course, like all butterflies they eat nectar. Last but not least, they eat the common (stinging) nettle. They have many predators. They are eaten by birds, spiders, lizards and small mammals.

Here are some interesting facts about a peacock butterfly. They hibernate in the winter for 5 or 6 months. Then the little young caterpillars form their cocoons in July. They can have wingspans about 6 inches. They lay eggs in March, April and May.
