What does it eat and how does it get its food?  Flits from flower to flower  Nectar from flowers  Liquid in the blossoms  Uses its hollow tongue like a straw  Drinks the nectar

Who is its enemy and how does it protect itself?  Shrews  Mice  Birds  Flies way high off the ground  Tastes bitter  Can be poisonous

What makes it harmful or helpful?  Helpful  Carries pollen from one flower to another  Pollen helps the plant to form seeds and fruit
