8 Erin’s brother weighed 6 pounds and 5 ounces. How many ounces did he weigh?

8 101 ounces. 6 pounds x 16 ounces = 96 ounces, plus 5 ounces.

9 Mr. Smith needed 32 ounces of milk for his recipe. How many cups of milk did he need?

9 4 cups. There are 8 ounces in each cup.
