Delicious!!!!! My favorite food. Anacondas eat lots of foods like large rodents, caimans, birds turtles, small reptiles and lots more. They will eat any small mammal. They might eat a jaguar but after that they might not eat for 2 YEARS!!!!!!!!!! Can you imagine not eating for two years. That would be a big challenge for a person. Younger anacondas don’ t eat big foods but they will eat fish, frogs and other amphibians or reptiles. Including small rodents.

Bigger than a cloud on a moon. Did you know an anaconda is the biggest snake in the world? They can reach up to TWENTY NINE FEET LONG!!! People make silly stories like “They have been able to knock down buildings, eat people” but they can’ t even do that. That’ s impossible! They are also are the heaviest snake in the world. Did you know that a 20 foot anaconda can OUT WIEGH a thirty three foot python. They can also weigh more than five hundred pounds. But they will lose a couple hundred pounds. Usually a female anaconda out weighs the male. In additi0n, they can reach more than twelve inches in a diameter.

“My favorite place to relax. Anacondas live in lots of places, such as south America in brazil, Columbia, Venezuela, northern Bolivia, and north east Peru. They are also found in the Guyana and Trinidad. They are mostly found in the Amazon. They are fast in stealthy water. They love swamps, murky, shallow water. The anaconda is mostly found in water. You can sometimes find them on land in a shallow cave where water is.

Strike one! Strike two! Strike three! Here I come!!! Anacondas are one of the best hunters. Every time the animal breaths out air, the anaconda squeezes out air till the prey can’ t breath anymore. Did you know that an anacondas can eat there prey WHOLE? An anacondas jawbones are connected to the skull, so as it eats, it crushes it’s prey when it goes further and further. The anaconda has a slow digestive system so what that means is if it eats a big meal, such as a jaguar, it won’t eat for about two whole years. That’s how slow it is.

I never knew I was so cool and awesome!!! An anaconda has dark green patches on it’s back. It helps it blend in well with the water. An anacondas scales are just like human hand!! Mostly every thing is on the head like the nose, nostrils, eyes and ears. They also have a thick neck.

I hope you learned a lot about anacondas. There are plenty more to find out about them. They are amazing creatures and you can try to see them at the Nashville zoo in Tennessee!!! conclusion
