The Officers – Jorge Wieneke Jorge Noel Y. Wieneke III is a veteran of the food industry. His career in the industry was started by his creation of Potato Corner, the country’s very first flavored French fries, that revolutionalized food cart selling in the malls. He soon developed Buy-The-Bucket to address the need for alternative cinema snacks. Jorge Wieneke is likewise known for his franchise expertise. One of the founding members of the Association of Filipino Franchisers, Inc. (AFFI), Jorge teaches Applied Entrepreneurship in the Ateneo de Manila Center for Continuous Education. He is also a Marketing Consultant and business partner for Waffle Time and Marina Seafood Restaurant.

The Officers – Irene/JM Oloris Irene Oloris has been working with Jorge for many years. She has handled all the financial works in various projects with Marina Seafood Restaurant, Good Earth Restaurant, Crush Advertising, Waffle Time, Buy-the-Bucket (GM) Irene is our VP finance JM heads the company’s operations team. He is in charge of opening new stores, making sure that they all operate based on the company’s standards.

The Officers – Carl Quema Carl is the president of Rabbit Advertising and managing director of Myhouse Magazine. He is currently the VP of JAP-OK! for marketing and handles a few stores himself. He makes the designs and promos for the company. He is also in charge of the commissary.

The Trade Name – What is JAP-OK!? JAP-OK! is a Japanese quick-serve restaurant that aims to provide authentic, quality Japanese cuisine at an affordable price. We continually strive to keep our originality and at the same time develop great tasting food for the Filipino taste

Positioning Filipinos love Japanese food. That’s why during special occasions, they dine in Japanese restaurants. The high pricing is the main reason why we don’t eat Japanese very often Since JAP-OK! has solved the pricing issue while retaining the great tasting food, we aim to target food lovers on a budget.
