NHCCR&R Network’s Mission The mission of the New Hampshire Child Care Resource and Referral (NHCCRR) Network is to enhance and promote the quality and availability of child care by meeting the diverse needs of New Hampshire’s families, providers, and communities.

NHCCR&R Network Make-up We are comprised of 10 Child Care Resource and Referral Offices and are geographically dispersed throughout the state based on the catchment areas of the Department of Health and Human Services’ District Offices.

NHCCR&R Network Meetings We meet collectively every other month to discuss the work we do for Families, Providers and the Community. We have elected officers that serve 2 year terms and are comprised of 2 Co-Chairs, a Secretary, and a Treasurer. We have alternating terms for 2 positions.

NHCCR&R Network - Families In July 1, 2010 to June 30, 2011 – 12 Months A total of 6,196 families received services and information in some capacity, either by phone, in-person, or via the network website. 3,456 families received one-on-one assistance from a CCR&R Staff Member. 4,031 families were re-assisted with additional referral information and/or wait list consultation. 909 families completed a follow-up survey with CCR&R Staff and provided them with information about their child care search and the services they received from CCR&R.

NHCCR&R Network - NHEP/DO In July 1, 2010 to June 30, 2011 – 12 Months 2,377 of families assisted were New Hampshire Employment Program (NHEP) or District Office (DO) Clients. CCR&R’s attended a total of 761 NHEP Orientations.

NHCCR&R Network - Providers A total of 129 Child Care Basics and Beyond the Basic trainings were offered in NH. 2,109 Early Childhood Educators attended these trainings. A total of 437 additional trainings were offered. 7,825 Early Childhood Educators attended these trainings. In July 1, 2010 to June 30, 2011 – 12 Months

NHCCR&R Network - Providers 2,723 New Child Care Opportunities were gained. 104 Child Care Programs closed during this time. 2,104 Child Care Opportunities were lost as a result of closures. 200 NEW Early Childhood Educators obtained their credential with the support of their CCR&R Staff Member. 199 Early Childhood Educators renewed their credential or obtained a higher level credential. In July 1, 2010 to June 30, 2011 – 12 Months

NHCCR&R Network - Providers 445 Child Care Programs were visited by a CCR&R Staff Member. CCR&R’s responded to 865 Technical Assistance (TA) requests by programs. This may consist of answering questions related to business start-up, licensing, contracts/policies, child guidance, rate info., etc. TA is provided via the phone, , in-person or via the website. In July 1, 2010 to June 30, 2011 – 12 Months

NHCCR&R Network – CCR&R's Provide valuable services and resources that benefit families, early childhood programs and the communities within New Hampshire. Act as a conduit between the state of NH and the early childhood community through quarterly newsletters and alert blasts. Collaborate with other agencies and organizations that support the mission of NHCCR&R by enhancing and promoting the quality and availability of child care to help meet the diverse needs of New Hampshire’s families, providers, and communities.
