Executive Branch Jeneca, Brandi, Robyn

-Made up of the prime minister and the cabinet - The PM is the elected leader of the political party that wins the most seats in the House of Commons -The cabinet has ministers that are responsible for particular government departments that are appointed by the PM

Duties -Runs the day-to-day business of the government -Proposes most of the ideas that become laws

Environment -Minister is John Wilkinson

-Responsible for ensuring sustainable development of province land, water, and resources -Watches the environmental values and wishes of the people -Keeps things healthy, green, and safe

Natural Resources -The minister is Christian Paradis -In charge of natural resources, energy, minerals and metals, forests, earth sciences, mapping and remote sensing -Works towards proper usage of these things and proper distribution

-Properly maintains forests, land, oil, mining, and energy
