CONCLUSION children who have French as heritage in NYC, enough to fill 35 schools (NYC average 1/647) In high demand with non-French families: French dual-language programs have welcome more non- French heritage speakers than French ones. We need more dedicated parents and principals to initiate dual-language programs in other primary and middle schools, and why not a high school. More schools means finding more teachers, more resources (books), and more funds (teacher development scholarships, cultural activities, etc). French bilingual revolution is happening. Join us.
