Biidaaban Youth Groups (BYG) Offers homework help and fun activities to First Nation, Métis and Inuit youth at: Silver Birches (Tuesday) from 2:50 to 4:30 Sunset Park Public School (Thursday) from 2:50 to 4:30 Nipissing University (Thursday) from 3:15 to 5:00 North Bay Indian Friendship Centre (all ages) (Monday) from 3:30-5:00 Accompanied by a Student Facilitator, Teacher Candidates prepare activities as a group prior to the session. Student work with youth on Literacy and Numeracy and fun recreational games 5-6 Teacher Candidates for each group

Children’s Aid Society (CAS) Teacher Candidates work one-on-one with youth on academic areas identified by the youth and CAS Accompanied by a Student Facilitator, Teacher Candidates prepare activities as a group, prior to the session Wednesdays from 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm (subject to change) at the North Bay Children’s Aid Society 2-4 Teacher Candidates This group offers tutoring and fun activities to students of any background, and age

Homework Assistance Club for Kids (HACK) Offers homework help and fun activities three nights per week, (usually; Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) to children and youth of Nipissing First Nation. BCSL offers assistance for one of these evenings Accompanied by a Student Facilitator, and under the direction of a Site Supervisor, Teachers Candidates work with youth on Literacy and Numeracy and fun recreational games * Transportation is provided; travel time is approximately 40 minutes to Garden Village, Nipissing First Nation and 40 minutes return 4-5 Teacher Candidates

Biidaaban Classroom Support (K-12) These placements take place during regular school hours Schools and students will work out schedules on an individual basis Elementary Classroom Support - Alliance, Dr. MacDougall, E.T. Carmichael, E.W. Norman, J.W. Trusler, King George, Our Lady of Sorrows, Silver Birches, W.J. Fricker, Sunset Park & White Woods High School Support - Chippewa, Widdifield, West Ferris, Scollard Hall, Northern & Nbisiing 2 Teacher Candidates at each school 17 local schools
