Description of Project In 2011, as a result of negotiations with the Ministry of Health, following specifications of the new University Hospital were established: Area of land for investment: acres The surface of objects: m 2 Volume: m 3 Number of beds: 925 Estimated value of investments 1,230,060,000 PLN, including: - Preparatory work and construction – renovations: 886,158,000 PLN - The basic medical supplies: 343,902,000 PLN Completion date: 2019
Description of Project The hospital will consist of the following modules: Inpatient module with 925 beds Surgical and diagnostic module Operating theatre module with 24 operating rooms Hospital emergency department with 24 beds Specialist outpatient clinics Educational and administrative unit
The biggest medical investment in Poland. The planned hospital is designed so that the objects can fulfil several strategic functions : Diagnostic, using the latest imaging equipment Therapeutic based on the latest and innovative methods of conservative and surgical treatment Educational for the medical staff from southern and south-eastern Poland Allowing for multi-profile scientific clinical studies The transfer to a new location will be associated with a reduction in hospital beds (medical positions).
