Born in 1816 in a city called Girga His name was David

When he was 22 years old, he became a monk St. Anthony’s Monastery

He loved to read the Bible

He became the head of the monastery He also became a priest

Loved to learn and studied very well

Everyone loved him, and he became a bishop

Then he became the 110th Pope of our church!

Pope Cyril loved to serve and did so many things for others… Opened schools Built Churches Wrote books for people to read Taught people Coptic Gave to those in need… Why did the Pope do all of these things? (His great love….)

He loved all the people, even those who weren’t Christians!

I love everyone, just as God loves me! How can I show my love to others?
