Winchester Cathedral Maths Trail for KS2 Claire Evers

Money You, your sister and Grandparents all want to go to the cathedral, how much will it cost in total? If one adult goes to the cathedral 4 times a year, how much money will they save if they buy an annual pass?

Shape How many parallel lines are there in this stained glass window? How many right angles are there? How many quadrilaterals can you see? Can you see any other shapes? Are there any lines of symmetry?

Number Count up the number of cream and green sections of the circle… list all of the factors of this total number. Sequence all of the numbers from smallest to biggest. Calculate the mean average of the factors listed.

Time If I arrive at the bus stop at 14.46, how long will I have to wait for the next bus? If I missed the last bus home on a Tuesday night, how long would I have to wait for the next bus?
