Course proposal system Proposal document Approval Board Materials for guidance on how to make use of technology Phoebe Case studies
Issues, Challenges and Opportunities Case Studies Identifying suitable areas for case studies Selecting the relevant material Choosing suitable presentation format
What makes a good case study? What facts, ideas and concepts would persuade you that something was worth investigating further? Print, poster, video, interactive widget, or some other way? Cut-off point for interest vs information overload? Who are you most likely to listen to? Anything else we have forgotten?
Pick one use of technology in the area of curriculum delivery (not necessarily from your project). Outline how you would portray this as a case study to persuade a tutor who is reluctant to adopt technology within their course that this could be just what they are looking for. Feedback to the group giving reasons for: – Which use of technology you chose to portray – Presentation format – ‘Voice' of the presenter – Which features you chose to highlight (and any that you chose to hide).
