Introduction Problem: People think they can communicate far better than they actually can. Theory: Most people think that their emotion can be detected through text and . Experiment: 3 statements were given with 3 different emotions intended Expected Results: Since we are not familiar with one another, the results will disprove the main theory
Methods and Materials Materials: Computers with internet access, 3 test subjects, an client. Methods: three subjects sent three statements to each other conveying sarcasm, humor, and seriousness. Statements were read and returned with thoughts of what tone of voice the subject was trying to portray.

Discussions and Conclusions Conclusion: Our results proved our theory about talking to people via online or text and our inability, as humans, to sense emotion correctly 100% of the time. Sarcasm was easily detectible due to the lack of truth, but humor and seriousness were hard to differ because of the truthful aspect of the statements.
