Do you know which bird is massive and black all over? It’s a raven! If you do not know about a raven or if you do not know what a raven is, then you are in luck because I will tell you. In this report I will tell you about a raven. I will tell you what a raven looks like, where it lives and what it eats. I will also tell you some interesting facts about a raven.

This is what a raven looks like. As you already know a raven is a massive black bird. A raven has a thick neck and really shaggy throat feathers. A raven has a long beak and sturdy legs. In flight when a ravens is flying its tail turns wedge shaped to help it steer.

This is where a raven lives. A raven can live in open plains and low land woods. It also can live in forest like areas in northern and western America. And the last place a raven can live is on cliffs in America.

This is what a raven eats. Ravens eat grains, worms, and small rodents laying around like mice and rats.

Here are some interesting facts about a raven. Have you ever noticed why a raven has not attacked you? The reason why is they are the smartest birds on earth! Ravens are graceful fliers except the males. Males are wreckless flyers and try to empress female ravens. The ravens are good hunters like the eagle. Even though they are the smartest birds ever, they are bullies and knock down other birds eggs and tear apart their nests. Ravens like to lay their eggs on skyscrapers. They fly in flocks in winter and have mates for life. Ravens lay 3 to 7 eggs and their cousins are crows.

In this report I have told you about a raven. I told you what a raven looks like, where it lives, and what it eats. I also told you some interesting facts about a raven. Now that you have read my report I hope you learned a lot about a raven. Now if you see a raven you now its not a crow.
