BEESTENMARKT Info: The Beestenmarkt was used as a cattle market from 1595 – The name „Beestenmarkt“ actually means cattle market. After being used as a parking space for a couple of years, it was transformed into a café area in the 1990’s. Landmark: A bull’s statue in the middle of the place still reminds visitors of the Beestenmarkt’s past. Suggestion: Go and try the apple pie at the café Kobus Kuch, which has the reputation to be the best apple pie in Delft!
