1 Cor 9, Am I not free? Am I not an apostle? Have I not seen Jesus our Lord? Are you not my work in the Lord? … 16 If I preach the gospel, this is no reason for me to boast, for an obligation has been imposed on me, and woe to me if I do not preach it! 7

1 Cor 9, 1-18 Written 20 years after Damascus Paul describes a vision – have I not seen the Lord? It is a rhetorical question! “Woe to me if I do not preach the Gospel” (1 Cor 9,16) It is the moment of his apostolic investiture ng the Lord 8

1 Cor 9,

1 Cor 15, 1-11 …that he appeared to Kephas, then to the Twelve. 6 After that, he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at once, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep. 7 After that he appeared to James, then to all the apostles. 8 Last of all, as to one born abnormally, he appeared to me. 9 For I am the least of the apostles, not fit to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. 10 But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me has not been ineffective. Galatians 1:
