Medieval Weapons/Armor of the 13th Century

Armor Of the 13th Century Chain Mail Armor  Pros: Is lighter to wear, making it easier to maneuver in.  Cons: Lighter armor easier to pierce thru with arrows. Full Plated Armor  Pros: Offered heavy protection against a wide variety of weapons, and hard to penetrate.  Cons: Almost impossible to maneuver in, incredibly heavy.

Shields Of the 13th Century Buckler  Pros: Good in close quarters combat, light to hold.  Cons: Gave little protection against arrows. Royal Shield Pros: Good against arrows and swords, gives a good Periphreal protection. Cons: Heavy, hard to hold and move at the same time

Weapons Of The 13th Century Long Sword (Used by knights)  Pros: Could pierce thru heavier armor.  Cons: Heavy and hard to hold. Broad Sword (Used by foot soldiers)  Pros: Easy to hold, light, takes less time to make.  Cons: Less effective against full plated armor.

Arrow Weapons of the 13th Centrury Bow and Arrow  Pros: Cheap, easy to make.  Cons:Low rate of fire. Crossbow  Pros: Fast rate of fire, long range distances.  Cons: Expensive, took long to reload.

Siege Weapons Of The 13th Century Trebuchet  Pros: Saves men in you're armies lives and, destroys castle walls  Cons: Hard to reload and to transport to the battle field. Siege Tower Pros: Protects soldiers until They penetrate castle. Cons: Made entirely of wood A could be set on fire easily.
