Jefferson Township High School Class of 2008 lovingly presents The Butterfly Memory Garden Dedicated on May 20, 2008 to Athear Jafar On May 20, 2008, the Class of 2008 dedicated the Memory Garden to their fellow classmate Athear Jafar to fondly remember her beautiful spirit. The butterfly chair sits in our garden as a testament to the fun, caring personality of Athear Jafar. This garden represents the strength of community spirit, the exuberance of the students who demand action even in the face of tragedy and the caring, loving spirit of the Jefferson Township High School Community. Though this spirit of community, love and hope each senior class is strengthened as they prepare to graduate and journey on to forge their destiny. Our hope is that this garden, which started with a simple butterfly chair, will one day with the help of many classes encompass this entire courtyard. May this garden be a legacy to the Class of 2008 spirit and the special life of a precious young woman, and may we always remember Athear Jafar.
