ENDURO Horizontal Electrophoresis Systems

Casting a Gel Attach a buffer dam to one side of gel tray Attach the other buffer dam to the other side of gel tray Place gel tray on a flat surface

Casting a gel Mix agarose buffer solution and boil Cool agarose solution to below 60ºC Pour onto gel tray Let solution cool for ½ hour Gently remove combs

Running the Gel  Remove the casting gates  Place the gel tray into the gel box  Overlay it with buffer  Connect the lid & attach to a power supply

Staining the Gel 1.Remove gel from gel tray 2.Place into a container with stain 3.Destain the gel with buffer or water

Features Heavy duty molded chambers Removable electrodes Multichannel pipette compatible combs Domed lid to prevent condensation

Heavy duty molded construction Prevents leaking problems

Changing the electrode Turn unit over & remove screw Remove old electrode Insert new electrode & secure with nylon screw

Multichannel Combs A large number of comb are compatible with multichannel pipettes

Domed Lid Prevents condensation from falling on the gel Recaptures condensation in reservoirs
