Appointed Positions The following positions will be appointed by the City Manager (me, your teacher)! Bank President Bank Teller Fire Marshal Police Chief Postmaster City Sanitation Engineer

Bank President & Bank Teller Bank President handles all the business of the bank. They are allowed to hire additional bank tellers. Benefits: Bank President weekly wage: $ 80 Bank Teller weekly wage: $ 50

Fire Marshal Maintain weekly fire drills Issue tickets for fire hazards (electrical, fire drill violations and safety hazards. Works with the Mayor and reports to him/her. Benefits: Weekly Wage of $45 Receives ½ of the money from the tickets issued

Police Chief & Deputy Enforces all city rules Can issue tickets for: Speed, trespass, vandalize, or disrespect of others Benefit: Receives ½ of the money from the tickets issued Police Chief is paid a weekly wage of $ 70 Deputy Police Chief is paid a weekly wage of $40

Postmaster Delivers all the mail in the city Delivers the checks for the paid positions Benefits: $2 per delivery

City Sanitation Engineer Is in charge of all trash pickup services within the city Benefits: Weekly wage of $25

Elected Positions Mayor Vice Mayor 4 City Council Members

Mayor Chief Executive Officer (basically in charge of the city) Greets all people who come into town Conducts (run) all city council meetings In charge of city map (can charge for extra copies) Benefits: Paid a weekly wage of $100 Receives housing for free Makes money from the city maps
