Thurgood Marshal was born on July 2, 1908 in Baltimore, Maryland. He was the son of dining room steward and a schoolteacher. He attended public schools and later on enrolled and graduated from Lincoln University. Following this, he entered Howard University law School. He festively graduated from Howard with honors at the age of 25. Family life >

Thurgood Marshal was a great man. He entered public service in 1961 as a member of the United States second circuit court of appeals. He also became a great lawyer fighting the ones who didn’t want freedom for the African Americans. He journeyed all this way and fought to the very end. He also became the first black member of the supreme court.
