Ride Marshal Requirements  Veteran of 2 Houston-Austin BP MS150 Bike Tours  CPR/First Aid Certification (current)  Traffic Skills 101 for Ride Marshals course (every 3 years)  Support at Least 2 Recommended Rides  Register for BP MS150 (pay fee)  Fundraise as a rider  Willingness to help others bike to create a world free of MS Proud Ride Marshal Sponsor

Primary Functions  Provide “rolling safety education” to all participants  Assist with starts  Assist riders in distress  Manage cyclist traffic at accident sites  Stress safety at all times  Keep participants on the road safe and enjoying the ride  Represent the MS Society and project positive message about safe cycling bike to create a world free of MS Proud Ride Marshal Sponsor

EMS Bike Team  We Started with roughly 30% returning members  Word of mouth recruitment, recommendations from current members  Now at 120 members and still growing bike to create a world free of MS

Goals on the Road  Administer First Aid to injured riders  Basic Level Care  Allow them to get back on their bike to complete the ride  We want them back on the road if possible  Call for higher level of care if needed  Keep people safe bike to create a world free of MS
