Sugar gliders By Dillon wessels

Part in the food chain Sugar glider is an omnivore and also prey. With out them in the food chain will go out of whack the secondary consumer would ether adapt or die out.

Animals adaptations animals can adapt to there surrounding like a snow bunny blinds there in fur white in the snow.

Habitat and ecosystem Sugar glider live in tree in Australia it compete for food with bats and many other animals.

There diet They are omnivores so they eat both plants and bugs. They also eat sap that they get from cutting trees.

behaviors There are born with fur claws to jump tree to tree. They learn to cut tree for sap.

Consumer level Sugar gliders are a first dairy consumer because they eat bugs.

Predators and prey Sugar gliders are hunted by many things such as snakes owls foxes cats. but most of all humans and there toilets yes many people forget to shut. the bathroom door and the sugar gliders wander in and wander around and usually they get curios about the toilet. and fall in and sugar gliders can not swim and dround.

prey Sugar gliders eat bugs such as meal worms beetles crickets grass hoppers lerps and moths. Fruit sugar gliders eat such as grapes apples papaya oranges peaches some times they eat sap from trees or nectar and etc .

Interesting facts Did you know sugar glider females have pouches like a kangaroo for its young. Did you know sugar gliders are a type of possum.
