The Most Dangerous Game
Presentation transcript:

“He leapt upon the rail and balanced himself there, to get greater elevation; his pipe, striking a rope was knocked out of his mouth. He lunged for it; a short, hoarse cry come from his lips as he realized he had reached to far and had lost his balance. The cry his pinched off short as the blood-warm water of the Cariban Sea closed over his head.” I found that Rainsford is a carless person and curios because he just hoped on the top of the boat so see what the gunshots and where they where was. We found out that he smokes because he has his pipe in his mouth. Rainsford went towards the island because he heard people and gun shots but he is heading himself in to a trap. When we heard the gunshots that was someone hunting's and shooting humans.

“Ten minutes of determined effort brought another sound to his ears the most welcome he has ever heard the muttering and growling of the sea breaking on a rocky shore” We found out that Rainsford is determined because he swam for ten minutes through rough seas and had to navigate through the sharp rocks with out getting hurt. We found that he thought he was safe when he heard the noise but the inland is not a safe place to be.

“The hounds raised their voice as they hit the fresh sent. Rainsford knew now how animal at bay feels. He had to stop to get his breath. They baying of the hounds stopped abruptly, and Rainsford's heart stopped too. They must have reached the knife.”
