DEPOSIT GUARANTEE Agent orientation

What is Deposit Guarantee Deposit Guarantee is a unique product that offers tenants a reprieve from having to pay large rental deposits. This is done by offering a credit guarantee for 2-thirds of the deposit, in return we charge the tenant an affordable monthly service fee (5% of the rental) (the tenant only receives the original third deposit paid when their lease ends)

How does Deposit Guarantee benefit the agent? EXTRA INCOME! We pay 20% of the monthly service fee back to the agency INCREASED RESPONSE! Statistics have shown that an advert with a Deposit Guarantee banner receives approx 30% more response than the same advert without one. LESS EXPENSE & MORE TIME! Deposit Guarantee does all the credit vetting & reference checks on your behalf & provides you with a full report, thus saving you the time & expense of doing it yourself PRE-QUALIFIED LEADS! We generate approx 50 leads per day nationwide of clients wanting to use Deposit Guarantee. MINIMAL DOCUMENTATION! It’s as simple as adding one addendum to your lease MORE CLOSED DEALS! Telling a client about the savings involved with Deposit Guarantee is what we call a DEAL SEALER! It makes the financial decision much easier for the tenant.

How does it work? Show the property to the client SEAL THE DEAL With Deposit Guarantee Send application to us for assessment Receive full report with results Sign lease as usual, including addendum & debit order You are issued a credit guarantee certificate that acts as virtual money, reclaimable if the tenant defaults or creates damage. Earn extra monthly income!

What if it all goes wrong? Even the best tenants suffer financial ruin or turn nasty occasionally, what happens when they default? The credit guarantee certificate issued to cover the 2 thirds deposit essentially acts like ‘virtual money’ to be claimed in the event of default. The process is quite simple: Inform us about the default & forward the certificate to us We contact the tenant & confirm default/damage We pay out the required amount within 2 weeks of claim
