URR Proposal Review Both committee members have approved the proposal (via the rubric) PhD committees should complete the Minimum Standards Rubric and a Dissertation Checklist with the correct methodology reflected Chair submits proposal, separate rubrics completed by each member, and a TurnItIn (TII) report to the URR with appropriate OSRA account copied PhD dissertation = EdD doctoral study = DBA doctoral study = DNP doctoral study = URR given 14 days from date all materials are submitted to review Rubrics found on Center for Research Quality website: TurnItIn assistance:
When the proposal URR review is returned… Not Approved Approved Review (including completed rubric) returned to chair with appropriate OSRA role account copied (see Slide 3) Student makes revisions Committee re-evaluates Upon committee approval, chair resubmits to URR with OSRA copied URR submits rubric indicating approval to chair and OSRA OSRA sends notification for student proceed to proposal oral conference with chair and 2 nd member
Proposal Oral Conference After verifying three separate dates and times with the student and second member, chair submits conference request form to appropriate OSRA role account (see Slide 3) OSRA provides confirmation with call-in information Conference held over the phone with chair, 2 nd member, and student Recommended to schedule a week in advance to avoid scheduling difficulties
