L EARNING T ARGETS 1. I can rate the elements on the scoring guide from most to least important. 2. I can explain why I think some elements are more important than others. 3. I can score a person’s recitation by using the rubric. 4. I can explain why I gave the performer the score that I did.

R ATING THE S CORING G UIDE Directions: please rank the elements on the scoring guide from most to least important. If you think an element is the MOST IMPORTANT, place a 1 next to that element. If you think an element is the LEAST IMPORTANT, place a 6 next to it. All the others will fall somewhere in between. Please rank them from 1 to 6.
