What Members Say “Being a member of HERC expresses the institutional value of collaboration with other higher education institutions and shows candidates that we are willing to reach out to the whole person as a hire, not just for the position itself.” - Leigh Settlemoir Dzwik, Assistant Vice President for Academic Human Resources, Oakland University 27

What Members Say “We are delighted with our Michigan HERC membership. We have seen increased numbers of applications for our positions, but more importantly, the quality of our applicants has also increased. I believe this is due to the increased national exposure for our positions. The One Click feature that allows posting our jobs directly from the MI-HERC site to any other web-based job board is a huge asset in saving staff time and money. The networking and sharing of best practices among our member institutions is also invaluable.” - Marla Stuck, Employment Manager, Washtenaw Community College 28

What Members Say “The MI-HERC website has been a tremendous resource in my work with job seekers. The site is very easy to use, and with positions at colleges and universities more attractive in this economy, it allows me to encourage job seekers to look at multiple institutions. Without it, my clients would be working hard and finding less opportunities." - Lucas Wall, Dual Career Specialist, University of Michigan-Ann Arbor 29

What Members Say An Advisory Board Member Perspective - Warren Hills, Associate Vice President for Human Resources, Ferris State University 30
