The problem with there’s and here’s and subject/verb agreement… Which of the following 2 sentences is correct? 1. There’s two ways you can go. 2. There’re two ways you can go. If you guessed # 2 you are correct… Ways is the subject of this sentence so you need are as the verb. There are two ways you can go. (not) There is two ways you can go.

Always break down contractions… When you have a sentence with contractions break the contraction down and then find the subject and the correct verb. Where’s your sisters? = Where is your sisters? Is this correct?
